The Vauxhall Corsa is a consistently loved car, generally by students and first-time drivers. The new Corsa was developed in less than 2 years and it won’t be long before an all-electric version is brought out. eCorsa will arrive later in 2019 and has an anticipated range of approximately 250 miles. Vauxhall will pip Ford to the post with a small electric vehicle as the Fiesta isn’t expected to go electric for a while yet.
Small cars are usually launched with 1.0litre petrol engines as mainstay options, but the Corsa will be primarily offered with a 1.2litre petrol unit that appears in a variety of Peugeot models.
The new Corsa will not be drastically larger in any dimension as Vauxhall officials believe that it is already the right size for small car buyers. Its clever packaging is likely to free up more space for both the boot and rear passengers. As the brands biggest selling car, the Corsa will set the tone for a new generation of cars. Its design will also mark a visual upmarket shift for the Corsa.
If you like the look of the new Corsa then you’ll be pleased to know that it is expected to become the standard across the whole of Vauxhalls product range – this also extends to the interior too.
